The ancient Ishibutai (stone stage) burial mound in Asuka, Nara, Japan.A mounded tomb with the largest corridor type stone burial chamber in Japan. It consists of a pile of more than 30 huge rocks. The earth which probably covered the tomb at one time was gradually eroded; now the stone chamber is exposed. It is believed to be the tomb of Soga no Umako, a powerful figure at that time.
